My Place

Students from Prudhoe Community High School in Northumberland identified their own building as in serious need of improvement, they then set about interviewing a series of local Architects who presented proposals as to how they would like help in the development. The group selected Napper Architects, who designed the Alnwick Gardens Tree House and Sunderland Winter Gardens. After a series of consultations, including an online survey of students and staff, key areas for development were identified. The video shows their proposal for a redesigned entrance way and reception, and was produced using the free Google Sketch up Software by a Year 10 student member of the group. They are now raisng the funds to see this idea into practice as well as making proposals for the future.
