Bali Rai Event:

‘Picturing The Story’

A journey through storytelling from words to pictures. An exciting day for creative thinking with visiting writer Bali Rai.

The aims of the day were to work with a wide variety of students inspiring them to look at different ways of reading and writing, encouraging them to think creatively about the way that they approach a project and their general work. The students involved had the opportunity to work within three workshops, creative writing with Bali Rai, Screen writing with Alan Huitson and character illustration with myself. The students will be invited back to the Library in September to begin a storytellers network within the school and have the opportunity to develop some of the skills that they have learnt from day the further.
