Harvest Moon

Harvest Moon

A snowball thrown into the night sky
Falls in the dawn light,
Dancing past glittery stars.

HORROR POEM.

HORROR POEM.

A lady was washing her 3 year old baby girl when the phone rung. She answered it and on the receiving end someone said:-
''i am the girl with the bloody finger and i am 3 blocks away from your house''
The lady Hung up and continued washing her baby.

A few minutes later the phone rung again. She answered it:-
''i am the girl with the bloody finger and i am at the end of your street''
She hung up once more. This time shivering a little.

Then the phone rung once more. It said:-
''i am the girl with the bloody finger and i am at the end of your gate''

Ella's poetry

Ella is a talented poet....She wrote these poems especially for Shine week:

Beetles

Beetles are such lovely creatures
Beetles are so great
Nice and black
Shiny and all that
Always are awake

Beetles are such lovely creatures
Big bold and strong
Shiny stuff
on their back
Never do anything wrong

School

The school sits
The school stares,
Silence

The school creaks,
The school groans,
Silence

The school whispers,
Doors open,
Madness!

I Am A Road

I am grey,
I am hard,
I am rough.

I am bleak
I am meek,
I am stone.

Cars broom on me,

'On the corner is a banker with a motor car. the little children laugh at him behind his back. And the banker never wears a mack in the pouring rain very strange!'
Year 2 have had an exciting week because the children also got to see the motor car with year 1. The children became pooets and wrote noisey poems about cars, they worked in pairs and used instruments. The children drew, painted and collaged pictures of cars and even designed their 'dream' cars. To top it all off, Y2 looked at a real live vintage car. Y2 had a great Shine Week.

Any talent, any age,
Some people did it on stage.
People glistening,
Others listening.

Talent, talent I like to see,
Teachers had to pick out three.
In the end only one could win,
I wonder who it’ll be?

Let Your Talent Shine

Let Your Talent Shine

Let Your Talent Shine

It all started at the beginning,
And ended up one person winning.
You need confidence to bring out your light,
And then you will be burning bright.

You have to have perseverance,
And then you will be fine.
Try to keep your confidence up,
And let your talent shine.

At the Beach

At the Beach

At the Beach

Waves crashing,
Children splashing,
Building castles in the sand,
Ice cream dripping in my hand,
School’s out, summer’s here.

I love the beach.
