Self Portrait in oil

A cross curricular project across Art, English and Music with 26 Year 7 students. The students spent the morning on White Horse Hill, Oxfordshire exploring, talking, drawing and writing responding to the ancient atmospheric landscape. Back at school all the students took part in a creative writing workshop that explored narratives from the White horses perspective. The outcomes were then recorded by the students with backing tracks. Finally all elements were brought together in GOYA 'The Gallery of Young Art' at Larkmead for an exceptional show.

Thomas Tallis School, a specialist arts college, decided to commission Tak! Design in Birmingham to create an interactive gallery to display a variety of media products on the school website. Tak!

As a specialist arts college, Thomas Tallis School needed a web based gallery that could act as a homepage for its website. Tak! Design, a Birmingham based team of designers were commissioned to create an interactive visual showcase, allowing students an staff to upload images via the site and see them displayed in themed galleries.
