CCHS Year 8 - North East Essex Schools Football Champions

In April the Clacton County High Year 8 footballers rounded off their fantastic season with the North East Essex Schools Football Final at Wivenhoe Football ground. The team won the Coastal championship to earn themselves a place in the final against the Stanway School. The game started well for CCHS when, in only the third minute, a through ball from Charlie Newman found Liam Condon who neatly lifted the ball over the advancing keeper (pictured right). Condon had two more chances soon after but failed to add to his opener.

CCHS Sports Teams - Best Year Ever

Clacton County High School is having one of their best sporting years ever with achievements across the board. The winning results have had an addictive effect with all the schools sport teams determined to maintain the winning streak. Early in the year the school’s Year 7 Netball team won the local Coastal schools tournament before going on to win the district competition and crowned as North East Essex Champions.
