We have a well-established reputation for making video-films, which began with an association with Chatsworth House, a stately home to the north of us in our county, Derbyshire. Students were invited to be inspired by the house, grounds and artwork - a passion of the current Duke - and the results are viewable on our website and on this site shortly. One Sixth Form student - Matt Cox - was also invited to paint the Duke of Devonshire's portrait and he was so impressed by the result that he bought one of the two versions.

Year 2 children at Banks Lane Infant & Nursery School have enjoyed using Digital Blue cameras to make stop-motion animation films during our lunchtime club.

Children and teachers from Year 2 meet once a week during lunchtime to create short movies using Playmobil characters. The films are uploaded to the school website so the children can share their films with family and friends at home.
