CSI came to The Meden last week. Scientists from the Centre for Effective Learning in Science at Nottingham Trent University gave 20 KS3 pupils the chance to submit hard evidence on a hypothetical case, based on their findings from four forensic activities. It was an interesting & unusual afternoon for the Gifted & Talented pupils, each of whom had been especially selected for their interest in Forensic Science as a possible career, or their attainment in Science subjects. According to Matthew Simpson, Y8, the activity has strengthened his resolve to make Forensics his career.
