Young people from Efford, Plymouth are hosting Xfactor style auditions during HeadSpace time 5-7pm at Efford library, Torridge Way.

The winner will receive a £10 HMV voucher courtesy of Plymouth Libraries.

End of Year Exhibition of students who have studied As and A2 photography at Bodmin College

Beaford Arts is working with Blundell School to create individual collages inspired by Ravilious, Matisse, Hockney and the rural surroundings of Beaford. The 35 students involved will be using dyed papers to explore layers, shape and form from the natural environment, working in the studios at Beaford for the afternoon. Photographs will be taken throughout to document the process as well as mini interviews with the students to talk about their talent and what they have learnt during the activity.

Saltash.nets surf club celebrates its surfing talent.

During Shine week at the Design centre in Penryn you will have the opportunity to view the fantastic and talent fuelled works of 14- 19 year olds. This is the culmination of widening access in to education workshops from Aim Higher.

Isambard Rock School is for young people who have already started to learn an instrument. All students participating are divided into bands helping each other progress with their learning and also their performance skills. Rock school takes place in our fully kitted out music department. As well as acoustic drums kits and guitars, we have our own recording studio and the very latest in digital drum and guitar technology.

Rock school is held on Thursdays after school during term time 3.30 – 5.00

With the help of Swindon Music Cooperative, Flux has organised instrumental lessons including guitar, keyboards, drums and electric guitar that students can take up if they wish. These are there to help Isambard students improve their music and performance skills.
